The Canyon Of Death review plz !!!!

finally i have finished my map .
i uploaded the final version and replaced the link in the new map releases .can some1 review it for me plz .i dont want an "official review" just a thorough opinion of a player and wheter u like it or not .and any bugs u encounter

here is the link to the thread in new releases forum so u can also take alook at the screens.

some1,plz review my map as u ropinion could well decide if i should continue making new maps or switch to something else (prolly modding available maps)

Well 1st off M&M Continue making maps mate deffinately, i like The Canyon Of Death and I love tdm so i know I'd have fun in it.

I must also say that you love destroying stuff lol and you do it well

I had no fps problems at all running on full gfx on a AMD Athlon Xp2600 Geforce 4 ti-4400 rigg,

But you do need to be a little more careful in some areas i've got some screens to illustrate: -

Generally I liked it but i wouldve loved to have that house accessable which wouldve made the playin field bigger

well,that house was actually stole......borrowed (i keep doing this) from remagen (mohdm3) and it was already inaccessible.besides the teams are set near the towers ,so making that mansion accessible would have spoiled the game flow .so the 2 teams woudnt be on opposite sides,besides i think it was 2 small 2 be accessible.i did want 2 make the battlefield bigger but i already spent 3 months in the map and i was so bored of it .so i had to get it out b4 i lost instrest and the map would have been buried 4 ever.specially after the beta release,most of the comments were negative and about the fps.
some of the errors u stated were because i didnt want 2 take more time in it.the truck is supposd to be a sniping position(u can get into the driver area if u crouch,then u can snipe all u want and smoke covers u ) so moving it would have screwed the clip brush positions and alot of other stuff.if i blocked the road than it would look alittle stupid,but i agree i should 've put something 2 block that.
im botifying it now and maybe id do a few small fixes here and there.if u have any other coments than keep em coming,and thanks alot 4 ur review

btw,isnt there any alive official reviewer here?

cool pm bjarne or jv_map (the admins) and ask them.we do need a reviewer as all the others seem to have disapeared (some1 must be hunting them ).
i think they will agree cause the "on hold" remark on this forum looks bad .having a reviewer would prolly get things rolling again and ur review would become official

i wasnt intending 2 fix anything as i think the map is 2 small to have several versions of it .but if u promise to keep ur word (officially reviewing the map ) i will fix it up and release v1.5 or something [/quote]
