i want to know how you use cheats like wuss and dog and health in mp.
too simple a question. i thought i saw something on it but i can't find it anymore.

You need version 1.00 to use those cheats an you must host a server, the cheats will not work at public servers etc........ BUT CHEATING IS LAME AND I'M AGAINST CHEATERS!!!!

So dont cheat plz

ok, it was for bot maps anyway, dont worry.

though i know that people have cheated on server unhosted by them. like a boat randomly appeared on the bridge map one time and i know how to do that, a spawn command, and also i'v gotten the effects of a misguided wuss cheat, so im not sure how any of that happened but im ready to keep trying.

i ought to add that iv tried devmap as i searched for on jv_map's one thread, but even though it loaded the map it wouldn't let me cheat on it. any ideas out there?

ok, basically iv found i can mess with sv_walkspeed and _svgravity when i do host the server, but is there a way to fool the comp to make think i'm an admin on the server? some console line?

even on a bot map i start it wont work. which is basically what i want. i believe it thinks im not the server.

Start mohaa with a shortcut like this:
bla\bla\bla\mohaa.exe +developer 1 +set cheats 1 +set thereisnomonkey 1

Then when mohaa has started, bring down the console and type g_gametype #, where # is 1 for ffa, 2 for tdm and 4 for obj... finally type devmap dm/mymap or devmap obj/mymap and you can cheat all you want

thanx jv, it worked! now i can blast them bots away while i calmly walk at 3000 speed. flying around freely with 100 gravity, and cause them to be amazed at my amazing invisibility and dogmode.

also if ur good u can get urself a rcon password and spawn stuff around whenever u want. alls u gotta do is wait for an admin to come on, log onto rcon, get his ip, vhange ur ip to is, and u got rcon! if the server was loaded with that stuff, u can do anyhting u want now.

well, it would be cool to cheat agaisnt real people, but mostly i want to use them against helpless bots.

well jv_map, i did use cheats when i devmapped, but i couldn't do it on bot maps, are they cheat protected? because i couldn't use the more known ones, dog, wuss, health x, spawn, etc. but i could sv_walkspeed etc.

and in another post u say u dont cheat .that is a very nasty way to get to cheat (very clever though ).

and lizardkid ,just out of curiousity .y dont u just play w/o cheats ?its much more fun blasting the damn bots with ur limited skills while they can snipe u with a stg44

oh i do blast them without cheating as well, but this would add whole new worlds. if i put in sv_runspeed 4000 the bots might not know what hit them and go careening into a river or something, as well as the fact that 100 grav would be perfect flying territory, os flying bots would make the game all the more 3d, im not all that interested in dog, but spawn is cool too. think of it, a submarine appears out of nowhere to suddenly envelop the defending axis. it's like magical superiority!!! i can slow them down running while i speed up walking, fly around, it's just the thought of being able to do unusual stuff.

and blue, im not intending to use this on you m8.

EDIT: i have a server i don't respect too much (vile language, all the time, unsavory poeple, etc) and tried out the rcon passowrdy thingy. i typed in

rcon clientkick 7

and got my ip address and it said i had no authorization. was i supposed to copy the server's address?

Well I never really thought of that till now, but since the computer has no feelings...

exactly my point. besides, it's fun to be able to do abnormal stuff.
