I have been busy :)

Post by Jack Ruby »

Well I didnt even go to the interview I had arranged for making ps2 levels :(

While waiting for the interview I got sidelined into making a few websites :)

These are all personal projects I got through word of mouth which cheered me up, THE FUTURES BRIGHT, THE FUTURES RUBY.

http://www.fusedlondon.com (this is a kinda online club flyer, not had any feedback from the guy I made it for yet, if he and his boys like it I get to make their site rather than just a lil project like the flyer link.)

http://www.msirecruitment.com/site (a site thats going live on monday, need to get the forms working and thats about it, I like it :) )

http://www.benztravel.co.uk/teletext/florida.htm ( this is my first week on a 3 month contract to overhaul these guys website. Heres a link to the original look of the site http://www.benztravel.co.uk , so far all I made was a kinda lame topnav and a busy landing page. All the content on the site is old or not working buts its about 200-250 pages, we have boys in India that will work from my templates, I may even get a chance to go teach them :) Over the three months I will develop the look of this site, it will be spot on, I aim to bust up the big budget boys, our main competition is http://www.ebookers.com and http://www.travelocity.co.uk )

http://www.ocean-florida.com I made this in a week, its obviously not perfect, lots of errors, but it was prodeced under pressure and it led to the contract I got to do the job above so its all good, I also spoke to the guy that I made it for tonight and he said he is getting lots of interest from the site but he needs me to make the phone number field in the form compulsory, no biggie :) )

Hmmm, I am sure I have done some other stuff but thats about it.

I aint the best or the worst web designer, but it seems right now ( though only 4 weeks ago I was desperate for some work ) I got a steady income from kinda doing what I love, would rather be making a map for money but hey at least I aint carrying bricks up a ladder.
Philip II of Macedon sent a message to Sparta:
"If I win this war, you will be slaves forever."
The Spartan ephors sent back a one word reply: "If".

What's wrong with toting bricks up a ladder? Keep ya in damn good shape.

The web pages look good! wish I knew Macromedia
Here's a link to some way cool web pages.

Anyway I think mapping for a living would ruin it for me.
