a better dial up? the only dial up upgrade i no of is to compress ur files on a modem connection, 56k the top w/o broadband isnt it?

i'm no expert on net connections or anything like that.... M&M's always complaining about his crappy 56k connection but i dunno if it's dialup or broadband.

Things like that don't help that much. Online gaming, the data is already compressed and even if it wasn't, it would make it worse...

well ,regretfully it is a 56KBS .although it looks to me like a 28.8kbs modem .
i would've loved to do alot of things (like join this tourny) but i cant because of this conneciton

calm down ,calm down ..... im a little wiery from all this "highspeed" im seeing .
it takes ages to download something let alone play !!!
but if i had a broadband ,i would kick all ur asses on that tourny
and btw there is no faster dial up .(other than the isdn ,but thats different)
i hope i can get dsl (512kbs) by the summers ,but its still very expensive and i cant find any1 near me to share it with for the price

,as if i needed this .but at least its better than nothing .i still do remember a month ago when the phone line went dead !!!!!
