Problem with textures

Post by Lt. Striker »

I apply textures to a map I am building and then when I compile it and play it they turn out all boxed out like this.

and even the window texture

What's wrong and how can I fix it?

You use MoHRadiant? if so, whilst having the area with the texture selected, press Ctrl + F to fit the texture to the area :)

Hope this helps...

I do but it still ,when it is compiled, changes itself to this. On MOHRADIANT it looks normal but when I compile and play it changes.

tiled

Post by tltrude »

Your textures are "tiled". I searched for "tiled" here in the forum and most people say it is a compiling error. So, please discribe how you compile and what options you are using. Is it a custom texture you made? Is it for Mohaa?

It is a custom texture I made but it does it with other original textures too. I did not use fast compile I just did it normally. It works for MOHAA SH and BT.

Oh! just a quck thought! Whilst in MoHradiant, with the brush selected, you can press "s" and get up the texture properties widget, and maybe if you change some of the numbers.... could work

Well I have made 3 different mods, Scope mod (both allied&axis) waiting to be posted on fileplanet but if you cant wait i will email them to you. I also have made a healthbar mod as you can see in my screenshots above, and a crosshair mod. All waiting to be posted on fileplanet, I already sent them in but they are slow at posting so if you cant wait I will email them to you. Oh and on fileplanet, it is already posted, I have made a trampoline prefab for mappers. So if you want a trampoline in your map just download it from fileplanet. Oh tried that too MJ, didn't work either.

Mj - if you are talking to me, just click on my signature logo.

Lt. Striker - Well, everything I'm seeing say it is a problem with using the compilers from one version (Spearhead or Mohaa) and using the bsp in different version of the game. Which editor are you using?
