bsp prob

hi i have a prob with a bsp i made of part of my map it seems i load it in mohaa and when loading comes up it shuts back to main menu
and have noticed this in compileing vis derived =0 and i think it trys to pull the vis from the bsp while makeing it
ne ideas on what it may b i am possible thinking a infinite brush but the no node doesnt come up in compile so i am stuck ne help would b thankfull

and this is mostly what i get while compileing and i havent let it go thru yet on the last 1 cause its never done it b4 and used to do vis so i am unsure how to fix it

I had that happen to me and i couldnt figure out what i did wrong. Then it occurred to me...i forgot to add a info/player/start Then all of a sudden it worked. Im not saying thats your solution but that sounds a lot like what happens if you forget to add one.

Any error messages in the console after it went back to the main menu?

its like the vis isnt been done so hence the map wont load
and now it is doing a prt never used to b4 all it done was the vis other maps work fine

Even without a vis compile the map should still load.
Just don't abort it half-way.
And I meant, when you bring down the console after it crashed, can you see anything interesting?

yep a error it was error:func_rottatingdoor::setsolidtype:solid_bsp
entity at ---------------------- with no bsp model

lol its 5 am here i will go fix it some how and redo and will post back here
when done thank u 4 ur time
i appreciate it heaps as i am a newbie to mapping
Just a little advice on how to tackle the problem

Try to take a look in the edit -> entity info... menu. See if you can find that door, press the select button and then backspace to delete it. You'll probably not find that door any other way, as it appearently has no brushmodel.

i done that and deleted all the rotating doors as its only 1 building i am working on at a timebut vis is still 0 and it is doing a prt wich its never done b4 and looks like it is to take like atleast a hour 4 260k visdata

I hate to say this, but maybe start again from scratch checking your progress as you go. Then when it doesn't work, go back and check on what you just added.
BTY: It would be nice if you would use punctuation. It makes your posts hard to read without it.

fixed it just put a box round the building and went to select all inside then copied to new.
