ok, i just set all of my gfx to medium in mohaa and did a few map tests.. here are (about) my averages for each of these maps:
Bridge: 40-50
Stalingrad: 85-100
SouthernFrance: 70-90
I mainly changed the options to 'medium' but i left the colors at 16bit or w/e. So that might have effected, but ya...

Well this is perfect, I just built me a new pc with a radeon 9800xt (256mb) and I ran the auto configure funtion in moh, and spearhead and it would only report 64 mb of available memory!

Is this normal as well?
Maybe they have something in common. I have not run the fps since this pc is only a couple days old. But I can tell you moh is running pretty sh**ty compared to far cry and painkiller which both have a much higher minimum requirements. ODD nontheless!!

The game is limited to around 90 fps, but you can up that limit by adding a line to the unnamedsoldier.cfg file.
seta com_maxfps "120"
That is what I have mine set to, but my card is a GeForce3 Ti500 and yours is better. If you go too high with the number, you'll get black lines across the screen, so keep it below 300.
You should see a big improvement in fps.

1st of all there is nothing called geforce mx 4000 .i am sure of that ,maybe its new and i have not seen it ,but i am sure there isnt any 4000 .the only geforce MX which is 128 mbs (that i have seen) is the geforce 440 mx 128 mbs .yes ,the name is the same as the one with 64 mbs ,but this one is alittle different .i think there was alos a geforce 4mx 460 with 128 mbs not sure .and there is also a geforce 4 mx400 ,but all i have seen of that is 64 mbs .maybe there is a 128 out there for it (i doubt it) but i havent seen it .
and another thing .all geforce MX cards are improved versions of the geforce 2 ,not geforce 3 .so technically a geforce 3 supports more functions that the geforce 4 mx cards .its just a geforce 2 with extra ram and a better design (slightly modified chip) and tv out capability .
i discovered this just a week ago ,and im regretting it because i bought about 3 cards for my lan

.the number 4 is misleading
u should've payed the extra money and got urself a geforce fx 5200 or a geforce 4 ti card .

No offense M & M, but we're looking for suggestions as to why mohaa is running like crap on these new cards!
BTW, I have all settings in every game set to max. And the worst performing game seems to be mohaa.

My fps in the opening of mohaa right after you jump off the truck is between 40-75, this is bulls**t since my old pc was around 20-40. And since all other games are running awesome, I'm lost. Is there something with mohaa only using 64 mb or does anyone know FOR SURE if it uses all the resorces on the card?
no offense taken

what i meant exactly is
, but we're looking for suggestions as to why mohaa is running like crap on these new cards!
the card ur talking about ISNT new .its just an old card polished up.
maybe the extra bost in ram and design of the chip improved the experience in some games .but it should gaurantee that it should do the same for all games

OK, but that pertains just for the nvidia, however my radeon is new. It sounds like a simple setting or parameter, but I have no clue.

hmmm!!! well,it must be some software problem .maybe its a driver problem too .if u have the latest drivers ,try going back to an earlier version (the latest isnt always good) .if u dont have the latest drivers get them (ironic ehh?) .
also ,what windows are u running ?and the rest of the pc specs would also help
