.Map :: MoHAA Mapping

well, i was just rechecking my mp settings because they change every now and then, name and so forth. i think it has somethnig to do with my gamespy account name being differnet than my ingame one. anyway,
i saw my net connection and i wish i had a screenshot of it but it displayed

1000

in perfectly normal font and size, as if that was really what im running. it was not an option when i pulled down the little arrow and still isn't, if it comes up again ill post it here.

any ideas on what happened? don't know if this affeects gameplay but it sure is weird.

Type rate 1000 in console.

yeah, it freaked me out for a second not knowing if i'd been hacked or what...

ah, i didn;t type that before im pretty sure of, but it still caused it to happen again.

Some servers mess around with your config using the stufftext command (I think this is a very wrong attitude from those servers ).

I had that happen to me one time as well. That same server also screws around with your model selection. It looked like they were forcing model sets by modifying client settings, but they also rotated so everytime I died, I respawned with whatever skin was currently forced.
