Hello,

I made an simple patch mesh, width: 3 height 3. and gived it a texture

So I get this:
http://www.mm2x.com/upload/files/rommel1.JPG

But when I tried to rotate the texture, I get this:
http://www.mm2x.com/upload/files/rommel2.JPG

The textures is gone..

It's weird because I did this before and then there was no problem with the texture.

Someone know what's wrong?

Thnx At0miC

simple: make the road, so that the texture is correct: Ie: make the whole thing again, rotated 90 degrees to the left or right of the first. then texture, fit, and rotate the entire patch mesh

For patch mesh use Key P.

Patch meshes dont allow the texture maniulations that a standard brush does... your manipulation options are limited to the button on the bottom of the texture dialog

[Cycle>] [ Cap ] [Natural] [ Fit ] [ Set ] [4 ] [4 ]

Try them... ( Set is controlled with the 2 number boxes ).

You can also use S (surface inspector) on most patches, but you have to manually type in the values for scale, shift and rotation. But you have to enter the scale first.

But the Patch Inspector (P) is perfect as tltrude and Bjarne BZR pointed out.

The [Set] values are the number of times the texture will repeat along the 2 axes. So 1 1 will fit the tex to the patch. :D

Also the [Cycle] cycles around different settings, you can use it to find a setting you like...
