here's a new release of V2 Rocket Deployment. Now it has nice playable fps(doesnt go lower then 65fps for me on medium settings, avarage 90)
You can download it here:
http://freehost20.websamba.com/TTmaps/V ... t-v1-1.zip
Have Fun, let me know if you know some serious bugs.
changes in v1.1:
--+> FPS improved!
--+> Changed .bsp name to V2RD (easy for serveradmins)
--+> Removed a lot of bugs.including: minefield indoorbug, invisible walls.
--+> signed my map.
(bjarne BZR helped me with the fps)
if you dont know V2 rocket deployment here are some old screenshots:

Looks good. Ran around and didn't find anything wrong. Good attention to detail.

Thanks:)
spent some time on it, removing bugs took most time. The map itself was done in a week or so
but...
I'm gonna stop mapping, I'll try to get a better fps on railway assault and then i stop. I also gonna try to spread my maps around so more people play them. So no new maps coming from me
Maybe in the future i post my .map files here on the forum. So some of you can learn from it. If someone needs help they can ask me, i also try to answer posts on the forum, i dont want to throw away my mapping experience.
well, i hope you guys enjoy my maps...

Its hard for me to be objective about this map, as I've worked on it in radiant a bit
But it IS a great map, both playability and eyecandy are off the scales. TopTiger is a natural mapper, and I can safely say that he has lost the ability to create a bad map in every way.
I'we said it before, and I'll say it again: GREAT work TT.

Oh and completeing "railway assault" is very walcome, and with your newfound FPS wisdom, that map really has no reason not to have a 90+ FPS on a 486 computer with a VGA-only Gfx card

cool map, looks really nice,
i think the only reason you haven't had many replies to this map is that it's a re-release, and the original time it got plenty of good feedback,
don't take it badly if no-one replies, just spam the post with things

I loved this map first time around, not downloaded the update yet but if it improves on the v1 then Brilliant !
As bjarne said, a raw natural talent for mapping, good on you my man !

Love to see some reviews, and the new version is much better then the old one, specially fps and the invisible wall is removed.
I haven't posted my map on recyclebin yet because i'm afraid that someone remake the map and release under another name without any credit. Maybe i will post it on recyclebin in the future, my first map and a prefab is there also.
I made a new topic because the other topic was about 2 maps and bad things:) thought this map deserved a new topic(also to promote). I still need to promote the map but don't have much time for it, i'll try to promote it the next few weeks, i got 8 weeks free so.. but i could use some help. The lack of support for custom maps in mohaa stopped me from mapping, promoting isn't easy too. i really want to continue mapping...
btw railway assault still has to be compiled

but that takes a while so i need to make some time for it.
