I would like to make my grass like on the hunt
does anyone know a good tutorial for that?

Im sure thats a patch mesh or LOD... prob. LOD. But I dont know any tutorials...

I don't know why when he is selecting the verticee's he does it one at a time?? I just left click and hold it down and drag over the area I want selected, it forms a blue field and it selects a whole area.

You can put LOD in and Ctrl + Shift + Click a patch and texture it with a crater texture that matches the regular grass. Then just put an indentation in the ground so it matches the texture.

the vidtuts are cool if you understand what the guy is saying hehe english style but you can watch it you will learn some good tips

for fields you can check the wacko recycling bin there is a cool grass texture and shader , ready to use ....take a look

You'll need to check out those tuts, my description was more of an oversimplification of the real thing...

Thanx guys.. wierd tho how much easier it is to build a house then it is to build a bumpy grass field hehehe . thanx alot
