stock texture colour

is there a way i can change the colour of one of the stock textures, tried using colour in surface properties but it didnt do anything, i wanna make interio/tiled_manor_dark white.

anyone know?

You can't change texture colors.

I read in a post about ctrl +L but i really dont know the effect of this keybind (watch the post txture more dark) here

as far as i m concerned the only way its custom texture........take the original and edit it .......
