Its sad sad news. How could anyone do that to a fellow human being! For those of you confused, Nicholas Berg was an American who went to Iraq looking for work in re-building it. He was captured by a group of Iraqi terrorists and beheaded on tape. The tape was sent to America for us to watch. It is VERY gruesome, but i feel its important to watch so we can fully understand this tradegy. He had a family in Penn, (wife and a daughter i think, not sure) Anyway you can watch the viedo here, but it is very graphic, and kinda long.

I agree completely. No matter what your situation, or cuase, I cannot understand how someone can do such a thing and be able to live with themself. BTW, on the Bataan death march, this type of thing happened several times from the Japanese soldiers.How could anyone do that to a fellow human being!
If you haven't watched it yet, think first. I have no nightmares or for that matter a weak stomach, but I could not remove it from my thoughts for the past 40 hours or so. Sure wish I could.Dont watch this if you get nightmares, or have a weak stomach

I saw just a same movie like this one a year ago. (but then it was outside not in a room). I didn't know what was on the movie but after watching that movie, I was really sick. I was in a light chock I think. I will never see a movie like that one. I never got nightmares but I don't know what is is, It's really scary when I think back to that movie.

You can only unfortunate kill someone in a battle, and kill him quick.
But killing a prisoner? That's really sick, he can't run away or fight back.
What kind of war is this?? Killing people who are no soldiers... making bombs and put them around your middle....I saw something on TV: Children from Iraq would do the same when they grow up, do kamikaza and kill prisoners with a knife etc. etc..
That's not normal, the teachers of the children must have learned them. ( some parants too but there are also many parants (ofcourse) who don't want that their children do something like that. You can just say that those children are brainflushed. Actually the children must be afraid but they are not.

Atomic, Tltrude, I second that. Kaioty, what the f*ck man! If people really wanted to see that video they would search for it themselves, don't you think?
Watching and posting the video doesn't help anybody understand "the message" of it. I know your intentions are true, but some things are better left to the imagination. Ever since I heard the news my thoughts went to Nick and his family and I've prayed for them. Spreading the video will only make people associate his name with those images and will not make them remember him for the good human being he was and what he stood for. I vividly remember the gruesome videos from the Faces of Death series before they got banned which was about 9 years ago, since then I decided not to watch any "snuff-movie" again and I will not look at this one either. Don't give in to the natural urge to watch these things, it won't do you any good.

I agree... there's nothing in the forum rules about posting videos of human beings being beheaded but I don't think it it belongs here, at all.
Anyway I think in fact it does not only not belong here at this forum, it doesn't belong in our world either sadly some people seem to disagree

so were the iraqi prisoners who were f*cked and tortured !!! now that was even sicker !! at least nicholas is resting in peace but those iraqi prisoners are still being tortured ,if not by the uk & us soldiers then by the memories of what happened .what happened now was just retaliation ,except that those "terrorists" didnt want to torture him like the iraqi prisoners were tortured so they killed him (and made the tape to torture the us & uk), I cannot understand how someone can do such a thing and be able to live with themself.
