this is bugging the heck out of me... how do i clip a brush?!?!

i select the brush, hit ctr + right click, and it gets clipped. that part i dont have a problem with. but THIS is my problem: IT ALWAYS CLIPS THE WRONG PART!!

ex: i have a big brush and i want to clip off the corner, so i try to clip it off but the remaining peice that is left behind is the corner that i wanted to get rid of, not the big chunk that i wanted to keep.

i remember i read somewhere that there was a way to toggle which peice u wanted to keep, but i cant find it now.

help please?!?!

2 tips:
1) The clipper clips off the "outside" part if you go clockwise around your object.
2) If you get it wrong: you can drag the points around using your mouse. ( Veeeery usful when doing that very brain-melting 3-point clipping :) )

Just look at this,

Image

Look at the number 1 and 2, you can see what is the difference.
Press Enter when you are done

I cant remember that you can toggle for the piece you want.

Clear? I hope :)

Use ~ to toggle between pieces. (Next to the 1 key)

Also Shift + Enter keeps both pieces. So you can always delete the one you don't need.
