.Map :: MoHAA Mapping

Just wanted to see what people think of the site... would you like to see any other games covered, etc etc

Personally I like the fact that it just covers Medal of Honor. And I like that there are no avatars cluttering the left margin. If you decide to use avatars, my suggestion would be for you to be in exclusive control of them. Maybe have the stripes associated with the user's rank.

Ya this is definatly one of the best MoH sites out there. The website and Forum are really great. What did you use to make the site?

Dreamweaver for the site, and phpbb2 for the forum

I love the site and about the avatar thing up top, if the boards were vBulletin they could install a store hack and make people have to earn those features. It's sorta nifty but causes a bit of spam, something I don't think you guys wanna see here. But yea Surgeon terrific site man, good tutorials, nice design and definitely a friendly forum community.

I dont really care if you spam, as long as you dont post porn or anything like that. And what do you mean the avatar thingy, like the .map at the very top?

Oh, ya that would be a pretty good idea.

I'm glad I found this thread.

I just wanted to add my two cents worth to tell you guys that I think you're doing a great job. I have no knowledge of mapping before now but I have been dabbling with it recently using your tuts and the forum answers.

I've only had to post one question because I couldn't find the answer anywhere....probably my fault anyway!

Keep up the cracking work fellas, from a nOObs pov this site is very helpful, informative and most importantly, easy to understand.

This site is GREAT,I like that it is MOHAA only and the loading speeds are fast.Not like TMT.Pages load quickly.Colors are great,easy on the eyes,except when someone in the forums uses the bright colors so you cann't read.My pet pev.I do not like sigs,find them to be a waste of space,avatars are alright.

To sum it up in a few words,the reason i come here is for the tutorials and the forum.

Keep adding new tuts,and keep up the good work Surgeon.

Well... I have found this site to have one big good thing and one big bad thing ( well 2 big bad things actually, but as I am not really a part of the site, I don't count ).

Big Good Thing: Lots of nice tutorials give you the answers you need, and if not: the responce in the forum is quick as a... weasel? squirrel?... yeah som small fast animal of some sort... and if you are in a real hurry: the IRC channel always has a madly skilled mapper or two.

Big Bad Thing: I have a tendency to hang around in the forum, rather than actually making maps... My production rate has dropped a bit because of this... dropped like.... an elefant? a whale shark? ...any big animal that is seldom dropped from large heights will do.

So by giving the illusion that there is something wrong with you?r site just to drag you?r attension, I would like to say it rocks! Both looks and content!

Thanks guys - I made this site to help the community and hopefully it has...Its still not finished, there are 100's more tuts that we could add ......
