if u got 2 rooms next to each other with a small gap in between them is it better to fill the gap with another brush or leave it empty?

I'm not a hundred percent sure what you are saying but if you can make the walls the same wall to reduce the number of brushes. Otherwise it can be left as is.

It would be better for vis if the gap were filled.

True, you could just fill it with a brush completely textured with caulk. That would help the VIS compile.

hm i was makin something n i got a few weird shaped rooms now i got all kinds of empty spaces in between them, gonna have to fill em up i guess, would it cause much of a problem if i left em as they are? like how much of an effect on the vis would it cause.
