hi,
Im new to all this maping skills but i know some tricks, well any way I was tring to make a winter map and when i was all done for the day I saved and exited, but the propblem is every time i lode my map up again everything
is all black in my editor.
plz help, Flubber

i like that title.
anyway are u using custom textures? did u install radiant properly? do tehy show black in the 3dview, or in the texture select window?

every textur is fine in every other place except the 3d view

are all the testures like that, or just patch meshes (which im guessing u used to make the snow look right)

hmm, well that is strange indeed.
what are your light setting in radiant preferences, are they correct? did u mess with them?

i see ur a fan of strange symbols/fonts/words etc.
if u didnt change them (ud know if u did) they shud be fine.
are u using cuztom or stock textures?

In radiant go to View > OpenGL Lighting
Make sure this is unchecked.
Also go to View > Lighting > Use Real Lighting
and uncheck that.

ARRRRRRG OK ITS JUST THAT EVERY TIME I SAVE THE MAP AND WHEN I GET BACK ON TO EDIT IT EVERYTHING IS BLACK IN THE 3D MODE!
WHEN I CLICK ON ONE OF THE BRUSHES AND CLICK LIKE SNOW TEXTURE IT AGAIN IT JUST TURNS BLACK AGAIN!!!
PLZ HELP SOMEONE HAD THIS PROBLEM BEFOR I HOPE BECAUSE THIS IS A PROBLEM!!! HOW CAN I TAKE A PITCHUR SO U CAN SEE??

M8 I understand your frustration but pls dont use capitals...
While looking at radiant press "print screen"
Then paste it (ctrl v) into a paint program of some kind.
convert to jpeg and try hosting it at the following address.
