The page cannot be found..........ok works if you copy and paste the URL into the address line.

1. Those are missing textures. You may have used some from other mod pk3s in main while mapping. All non-original pk3s should be moved to a temp folder in main while you are mapping.

2. Read Krane's post below.

3. Can't see a church in the first two shots. Try adding Key/value ambientlight/16 16 16 to any worldspawn brush.

I don't think freewebs likes to be image host...

And try, in your worldspawn key/value sundirection/-45 90 0. That will put your sun up in the sky.

well , it seems that you have bad shader textures or simply used textures from other pk3 like tltrude said , that's why you see that weird texture .

same for some brush that i see in 2nd picture

you added sunflarename=sun and it is under the floor......set a right angle then your sun will be at top .

By angle, he means what Krane wrote.

Key: sundirection
Value: -45 90 0

If you do the following, there will be no sunflare--you'll still have light.

Key: sunflarename
Value: none

It doesnt seems to work :(

Code: Select all

Suncolor 70 70 70
Sundirections -45 90 0
Sunflarename None
so,i hope ya can see what i did rong...if i did something rong :)

PS
That actually the only thing in my worldspawn, dont know if anything' missing, but its just for a test version! :)

Ill show u the steps of how i made my skybox
-Dragged a brush around my map
-Hollowed it
-Outside painted with caulk texture
-inside with sky,and ground texture
-Added the sunlight as above

Season greetings!!
