vis,skybox prob

just wondering is it normal when i put a skybox arond a building
then i compile it takes like ages 4 the .prt to do and the vis is only 230k
b4 it never used to do the .prt file on old maps and was just a quick thing when the vis came up on compile
now it takes like hours cause it does the .prt and i waited 11 hrs
or so and that was 4 99%
ne help would b thankfull as i cant compile bsps when i put a skybox in
if i take it away it works

If your map is small then I would say that you have other probs with your map unless your pc specs are low.

If thats the case you now have a map that does not "leak". The time will now increase do to vis calculations.

dam is that a usual time 4 230k

I would say no but it might depend on your pc specs...

fixed it by shortening the skybox to the ground level
cause i have rooms under ground level so its k
