scr files (i hate it to be a beginner)

I hate it to be a beginner!

Who can help me with the .scr files? I readed the tutorial but i don't understand it!

What do you want to do with it??

Extract it from a pk3 and open it with notepad (don't forget to choose "all files" or else you will only see TXT files).

Here is a real simple tutorial for a deathmatch type script:

After you modifiy it to fit your needs, be sure to remane the "yourmapname.txt" file to "yourmapname.scr" and place it in the main/maps/dm folder with your compiled "yourmapname.bsp" file. It will automattically load up when you test your map.
