rain but no lightning

Post by merlin »

i have this bit of scripting in my script (yes i know thats obvious)
exec global/weather.scr
exec global/ambient.scr
I was wondering if its possible to have rain but without the lightning effects
I get rain,lightning and thunder with this but i really only want the rain and thunder or just the rain.

thank you for any help!
My candle burns at both ends it will not last the night,but oh my foes and oh my friends it gives a lovely light!

if you don't like thunder & lighting do as jv_map says :)
# rain:
brush that touches sky & ground; func_rain

# rain with thunder & lightning:
brush that touches sky & grond; func_rain

put in
exec global/weather.scr // thunder & lightning
(under level waitTil prespawn)

# ambient (plaines & bombs):
if you like to hear plaines fying over and bombs getting dropped

put in
exec global/ambient.scr m5l1b // makes airplane & bomb dropping sounds
(under level waitTil prespawn)

# Adding fog:
If you want fog

put this
$world farplane X // X is the distance of the fog. 1024 is real dense, 8192 is real far.
// ex: $world farplane 2048
$world farplane_color (r g b) //type in red green and blue values on a scale of 0 to 1. if you want pure blue, then you would type (0 0 1)
// ex: $world farplane_color ( .3 .3 .3)
(under level waitTil prespawn)

if you want the fog like in Hunt/obj
$world farplane_color (.333 .333 .329)
If you want it bluer, increace the third number just a little. like (.333 .333 .337)
