a couple more Q's

my map is coming along but i have a few problems
1 when I work on lighting, some areas dont light up even though i put lights practicaly on top of them
2 i dont know how to make a centeral light that covers the whole map kinda like the sun
3 the doors and ladders I make dont work
4 when I make a mp map it doesnt show up in the "start new game" option
nor do i find the pk3 file in the main folder

1) try key/value light/500
2)impossible to make a big light that cover the whole map , if you are the map stand outside , set the worlspawn entity with suncolor 80 80 80 and ambientlight 20 20 20
3) ladder check angles , you got probably the wrong one .....and for doors refer to tuts
4) if its a dm map put the Bsp in a maps/dm folder

I had to delete all of your lights that were on the ground lol.

To create sunlight select all of the sky textured brushes and hit n. then type in the top suncolor and on the bottom type in
90 90 90 for full sunlight.Hit enter, Then type in the top ambientlight. then type in the bottom 20 20 20 for normal ambient light.
