Hello guys! Check out my new fan site. It's still in the process of being made, so there are some broken links.

Looks like your off to a good start.
Got to hate those popups though. Luckily I use PopUpCop that stops them completely. That's the bad side effect of using Tripod. Occasionally I run across a site that just doesn't work without them, I just don't ever go back.
If you have broadband, think about hosting your own site. The biggest draw back, at least for me, that, is that the uplink is limited to 0.5mps. It really doesn't matter too much unless someone downloads larger files. On the average they will get 45 Kps if they are alone downloading. I'm not really looking for much traffic at my site anyway.
If anyone would like to see it, they can find it here:
http://innkeeperhotel.homedns.org
Not much there at the moment, I put it together in hour and a half, including the web server. Actually the web server only took 4 minutes to download from the web and get running.

I have broadband, but don't think I would want to pay for my own domain.

I don't pay for mine. I use a free DNS service,
http://www.mydyndns.org. It can handle dynamic IPs, although mine has not changed in a while, my provider does not guarantee it. I have also set up my own mail server so that the members can e-mail me at
Innkeeper@innkeeperhotel.homedns.org. It's pretty cool. 8)
You could still use your current redirection via .tk

Ya, but it took me a long tiring time to make the links. Type type type until my fingers are tired.
