Hello all,
I am new in the neigbhorhood, so I figured I stop by to ask a question in regards to single player maps being converted to play on online servers. I have seen few servers running these maps i.e m2lb, m1l1, etc...If anyone has some intel in regards to where I might be able to get my hands on this mod or a map pack that is a "template" to work on, will be greatly appreciated. I do not believe in stealing other peoples work, but knowledge is power and I will give credit where credit is do on my server.. I myself script and mod, so I do have experience in that field. Any help or given the right directions is greatly appreciated with respect to all members in regards to their time and talent.

I m not sure but if you want a sp map work for a multiplayer gametype you have to change the script to a dm ,add the map in a dm folder ........and spawn axis and allied info player with script .
Wait more experienced mapper/scripter that will give you more details .

Hmm....the tuts gives details on how to add stuff. There is a certain way to lay out a script in a certain way that it can be played in Spearhead multiplayer game. A single player map to start with from scratch is m1l2b found in pk5 file in main folder of mohaa. There is alot of junk in that file that does not need to be played online with. The question remains what can stay and what not can stay. Anything is possible. I really do appreciate your folk's help, it means alot. Thanks in advance.

There's no big deal at all

!
1st you have to get nuggets's animation script and put inside your main folder. Then, all you have to do is transfer the bsp, scr, pth and min files of the map you wnat to play to your dm folder! I already played w/ him and it works.
Keep an eye on nuggets. If you want I can try to contact him. Or give me your email and I send you the file.

You need to learn some scripting to do what you want to do. Take a look in our
tutorial section, and there is quite a lot of scripting info
on my wiki as well.
Cool:

I will look into it more depthly at the tuts too see if I missed something. I have sent "Krane" a pm for the file. Once again you folks have been alot helpfull, hopefully if all goes well, and if its ok, perhaps there can be a place to put up a "completed" template pkg for others to work on. The more feedback, the more ideas just keep on flowing. Once again I would like to thank you all with respect towards your time and talent.
