Starting a thread 1 minute before the round ends?

I have seen somewhere how to have a coutdown in the script which will start something x minutes before the end of the round

but I can't remember how

Can anyone help please?

Not really sure, but this might work.

local.time = (getcvar(timelimit))
if ((local.time - level.time) == 1)
//do this

It would have to be in a looping thread.
