.Map :: MoHAA Mapping

Hello all.

We've been using mohaa v 1.11 and recently someone's has been accused of being invulnerable to bullets by more than one players.
It can't be the "dog" cheat, because, as M&M 's told me, the console cheats don't work with the 1.11 patch.

Could it be something else? I think i've heard that some sort of health boost is possible through scripting, could that be it? Any other ideas to prevent something like this completely server side?

It seems pretty much impossible to me that such a cheat exists...

Then we're back to the 'dog' cheat possibility... cheats are disabled by default aren't they? If not, what do i have to do to disable them?

Just +set cheats 0 +set developer 0 on the server?

Yes that should work. Just type 'dog' in your console to test

Actually, i've seen some pretty amazing cheats in moh:aa... custom made Teleport scripts, shooting through walls scripts, WORKING Aimbots, health boosts, and many forms and types of wallhacks. I would not be suprised if someone has figured out the invincibility by now. but i'm sure if this person did it through scripts, he must be one smart man and i'd stay away from insulting him in any form!

well,i dont see that any1 has insulted him
but his lack of respect of others and the fact that he is spoiling the game for the rest doesnt earn him any respect .
maybe some1 made it and some1 else is using it .
happens all the time ,usually the ppl that can script this good are great players and dont need to use thier scripting powers for wrong doing *looks at Jv_map *

Can you insert "+set cheats 1 +set developer 1" through a script ? (instead of using it through mohaa's shortcut)

There are many custom maps in the server's main folder, could it be sth in a script that might be causing this?

I would. He's a coward and weak. Maybe he have intelligence, but he's using the wrong way...probably will never be a real men, just a scary person affraid of real fight.

Well it is possible via the setcvar command.... but would be kinda stupid to put something like that in a map script I think

There are too many custom maps in there (about 50). Maybe some of them aren't just maps.

No, if you are a very good 'hacker' via scripting, you can easily get into the server, put something in. Couldn't you?

Why i say scripts is because of an encounter i had. I was playing with a hacker who could get into other peoples computers in a matter of seconds (this is why i be nice to people with great computer powers.. sometimes...), me and him were pretty good friends, anyway, we go into a server and this person had all this custom stuff on him. Teleport [scripts], aimbot, wallhack.... We got mad and my good-hacker-friend hacked into this person.... lo and behold, my friend encountered all these 'counter-hacking' scripts running off of his puter and lots of other stuff... which scared him shitless. He bailed the server instantly cuz the other person was obviously better than him.
