Upload my Website

Post by At0miC »

Hey, I'm busy with my own website, "At0miC Mapping" for my own maps, tips and other stuff :D , I create the website with Microsoft Frontpage. But I need to upload it soon, but were can I do that? For example, freewebs.com is crap, you can only upload 1 file each time. I want to upload everything at the same time, and when I have change or updated the site, I want to publish it as quick as possible, you know? But I want it free. hehe

Thnx

You should look for a host that allows you FTP access.

I think www.brinkster.com has that but they limit your files to under 1mb I think ?

Its a hard job to find a free host that will do everything you want.

heres a free ftp program, www.smartftp.com
Philip II of Macedon sent a message to Sparta:
"If I win this war, you will be slaves forever."
The Spartan ephors sent back a one word reply: "If".

I think the only way to get a good host is to pay for it... it dosent have to cost a huge abount of money: http://www.b-one.net/

All the "free" hosts must get financed some way, so mostly you will get stuck with commercials on your site, irritatin the crap out of your visitors. Or if you have a good site you can ask http://www.planetmedalofhonor.com/ to host it. We did, and at least 5 others in this forum are hosted there ( here ;) ) . At least that way you will run game related ads on your site.
