Site Problem or is it me?

um i try to load an avatar and ummm.... i says i need to get a jpg gif or png, but my image is already jpg! Im tryng to load it from an off site link and it has worked before! What am i doing wrong? why am i asking myself these questions! Why Why Why?
oh and here is the new image to go with the new name? do you like it?

Maybe the format is wrong, I'm not sure, but I think it must be at least 80 x 80 (pixels)

now ive had bigger pictures than just 80x80. Ive had 125x125 before as an avatar and it accepted it.

Displays a small graphic image below your details in posts. Only one image can be displayed at a time, its width can be no greater than 80 pixels, the height no greater than 80 pixels, and the file size no more than 6 KB.
*edit* Hey supernova, I had to resize it to get it down to 6k.

big file sized avatars kills 56k... and big dimension avatars mess up forum layout...

And that pic is in the PNG format... Convert it to jpg first.
