The Hunt Reloaded

Post by InsomniaSNake »

Hey,

The Hunt Reloaded a The Hunt Rebuild (without all the annoying aspects) is almost done for the MoHReloaded Project ( http://www.MoHReloaded.com/ ) it's process and screenshots can be viewed at http://www.insomniaclan.com/MohReloaded ... 59&start=0

Also if you got time, please visit and register at the forum:
http://www.insomniaclan.com/MohReloaded

There is one thing that dazzled me thou and that's why I am posting this message in the mapping forum. A lot of people, well actually a few I know but there must be a lot, have tried rebuilding The Hunt unsuccesfully and all including Seere's The Hunt Reborn failed at the church. Allthough I am still working on the church as shown in the pictures I think I might pull it off... but does someone know what have might been the problem?

I remember a thread that someone wanted to rebuild the hunt but didn't because the church would be to difficult and without the church the hunt wouldn't be funy anyway....

Anyways soon this Hunt clone will be in beta testing and let's pray that all goes well also soon to be released The Hunt Deluxe for the people who like some little more exiting, because in this version you will be able to acces the roof top of the first house, you are able to acces the attic of the bathhouse and you will find some other cool area's and objects to explorer and to expand the fun.

Another reason why this message is suitted here is because after MoHReloaded has been released it will become an opensource project with tutorials to get more people exiting in modding in mohaa. There for this Hunt Rebuild which cost me a couple of months will be released for all you guys to fool around with. (wouldn't be fair to keep it to myself now would it  )

I have seen snakes work and he has taken alot of effort and time to recreate the hunt ...fix bad brushes etc and he as made an exceptional job of it recreating it down to the finest detail...we have all looked at a decompiled bsp and seen what a mess it makes.
Congrats snake on the patience and skill to pull it off.
Seere.

i'd like to contribute a glitch, it might kill fps if you do this but....

if you go to the Axis side of the barbed wire and sit in the middle of the road you hit a leafgroup that allows you to relay info about any allies in the ladder house (the one on the Allied left jsut after spawn) on the whole bottom floor. it's kinda a wallhack but it's jsut a leafgroup.

to see what i mean go to the road, get to the barbed wire, look at the ladder house through that axis open house, and you'll see the wall dividing the ladder from the rest of it.

jsut to let you know so you can 'fix' it. :)

thanks to >V< Prodigy and >V< Evilgreenbunny for this. and showing me this.
