Is there a way to take control over a searchlight ?

not without a mod. you'd basically have to crack open the mg42 script and reengineer it.

maybe I can just change the textures from the mg42 to searchlight textures...and disable shooting with it...

i haven't looked in the mg42 script for soooo long, i can't really tell you, except that they use static models isntead of textures. i think.

yup , static models , the searchlight is build with static models 2 ....so it isn't impossible

somebody else know another way to do this ?

I figured it out to change the static models .. When it is idle the static models are good, but if I press e then it is a normal MG42 again.
