In my experience you need Lightray to get bones to work correctly... you can export from .max to lightray though via the skl exporter in the SH SDK

Light ray huh. Thats what it looks this forum is going everyone is getting tired of milkshape, and with scorp afk. Kinda have to move on i guess. Bums. 3dsmax wasnt cheap. Now I have to buy Lightray too? Crimaney. Wish I would have picked it up instead. Well hey, can I edit the model shape in 3ds then export to a .3ds and import that into milkshape for the bones? And texturing or do I want to do the texturing in 3ds. Since its a better program.
Hey jv_map congrats on MW just what I wanted. Who made the woolcap in your guys mod? Maybe someone could write a tut on that. Thats what im looking for is gear modeling for my custom skins.
