what textures to use for metal stairs? (names and locations plz)

Use "general_industrial/deckgrate_set1" on the top face of a nodraw textured brush. It should be scaled down, as the holes might look too large in the game. Then make a frame for the step with "general_industrial/deckgrate_set1b".
