omaha beach explosions

How do you make the omaha beach explosions? Not the explosions from the bangleores but the explosions that happened in the sand. I would imagine ill have to script this also so im just wondering whats the best way to go about all this?

YAY !!! I just figured out the scripting and all that good stuff. I tried out a lot of different types of explosions. My only question that i have is the fx/explosions/tank the only explosion that has a sound with it? I tried out some others and they had no sound whatsoever in my multiplayer map. Also in reply to the guy above i have approximately 12 explosions on ground and i have just over 15 parts of my castles that explodes parts of the walls right off altering the map. And not an ounce of framerate drop from me or my testers

grrr ok sorry i bugged anyone i tried out the dirtexplosion and it worked perfect for my needs so i accidently answered my own question. I guess just testing and testing for yourself is the best teacher once you get the scripting down. THanks anyway though

umm have u tried it with say 12-20 pple on it
with some pings like 300
it could b laggy still

no only 9 including myself my server can only hold a max of 11 people. You really want it to be laggy dont you

Just let it go and let me have my fun, im happy
