Maybe another stupid Q

Post by PsychoE »

when pressing 'n' to bring up entities, I am not seeing the whole menu. The bottom and side is gone. I tried stretching it to no avail. I can't see the bottom angles and barely enough of the arrows on the right side. I guess I can live with it, but anyone know how to fix?

floating

Post by tltrude »

That is a floating window. You can move it by "left click and drag" in the top bar (where the word Entity is). The edges of the window can also be dragged with your mouse because there will be little arrows when you hover on an edge or corner--even the top edge.

So, just drag the top edge down, and then drag the whole window up!

Note: left click and drag is a windows option, and it may be turned off. Search for "resize window" in help.

Windows help

Post by tltrude »

This is right out of windows help.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To resize an open window

To change the width, point to the left or right window border. When the pointer changes into a horizontal double-headed arrow, drag the border to the right or left.

To change the height, point to the top or bottom window border. When the pointer changes into a vertical double-headed arrow, drag the border up or down.

To change the height and width simultaneously, point to any window corner. When the pointer changes into a diagonal double-headed arrow, drag the corner in any direction.

Note: You can not resize a window when it appears in a full screen (maximized).
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I use WindowsME and have classic desktop set--and have no problem resizing windows. It might also be some setting in preferences, but I can't tell which. Here are my settings.
