scale a whole map? because of dimensions...

Hello!
I?m German and I?m working on a map of my school (don?t worry, i?m not intending to try on it for shooting in reality, it?s just for fun :-) ).
Now that I?ve already completed the schoolyard and parts of the interior, I somewhere found that 16 units in MOHRadiant is 1 foot on the map. Up to now, I ?ve been trying out the dimension on myself and so I made the map with 16 units being about 0,85 foot, so it?s a little too large.
Is there any possibility to scale the whole map, to make every brush a special percentage smaller in one step?
Or perhaps to advise the Compiler (I use MBuilder) to use another dimension so that it will be allright in the end?

Yes it's possible to re-scale a map, but I'd advise you to make a back-up first.

To resize the map, select all brushes and use selection -> scale.

However, this might result in corrupted brushes. So if you don't really see that the map is out of scale, I'd say leave it as is. The 16 units, 1 foot measurement is just a rule of thumb, not a law you have to abide to.

Do you mean "Selection -> Arbitrary Scale..."? What's the consequence of having the resulting vertices not being on exact grid locations?

That's exactly what I'm worried about. Anything could happen to the brushes. :(

16 units a foot ?? seems alot smaller ... my walls are 12-16 wide cos i recon 8 units was too thin ...that just in the editor maybe =0

8 unit thick walls would be 6" which is a little thick for an interior wall in residential structures. But it looks ok. Making most doors 2 or 3 units thick looks correct, that would be 1 ?? to 2 ??. Standard residential ceilings are 8? but that looks a little low in the game. I suggest 9? because a player can jump much higher than most real people. He will hit his head if it is 8?.

Commercial buildings need thicker walls and most times higher ceilings. My work shop has 12? thick walls and a 16? high ceiling. And of course, bunkers had walls up to 8? thick at times.

A unit is the smallest measurement in MoHAA. If you reduce the gridsize in MoH Radiant to its smallest size (press 1) its the length of 1 grid box. Thus 16 units is 16 boxes long.
