Hey all,

i've spawned a bathtub, in a stock map ... but i cannot sit in it :?
the only thing i can do is sit on it.. If i put a bathtub in radiant and i compile it, I can sit in the tub.. :? somebody knows why ?

lol most static objects need something called a clip. bring up the common texture list, see all those? metalclip, sandclip, woodclip, you get the idea. now you need to make brushes that overlap the model so it has brushes forming the tub, they're all invisible so dont worry, just take your time

This is not a matter of modeling clips in Radiant.
Some models have their own *.map file. This file contains a clipped "skeleton of the model, that defines where it blocks. Models that you can walk through do not have these map files.

Here is a tutorial Innkeeper wrote a long time ago: /t.php?id=42

But! These model maps do not work when you spawn via script ( not from what I know at least ). You need to compile it into the map.
