putting stock modles in maps solid

hey i was wondering if some one knows a way to put stock modles like a tank in stock maps solid so you cant walkthrough them.......me and this other guy were trying to figure out why it couldnt......and if there is a way without using radiant?

Yeah, you have to enter a code for it to be solid like this:
local.mytank = spawn script_model
local.mytank model "models/vehicles/tigertank.tik"
local.mytank.origin = (xxx xxx xxx)
local.mytank.angles = (xxx xxx xxx)
local.mytank solid
I colored the code in red.

Do you make a new scr file or add to an scr file??

ok can you say it by step by step im kinda new and plus i wanted to know because i have a voodoo mod and in the script you can put your own models in the map instead of the skin and i put a tank in and when i tried it you walk through it.......can you help?

You modify the existing .scr file.

Ok...im bored so I'll walk you thru it step by step..cuz i actually just spawned a tank in a map that cannot be walked thru!!
1-Copy original map.scr to desktop
2-Go into Main or Mainta/Maps/DM or OBJ (depending on the type of map your tryin to spawn objects into)...then create a folder called MAPFIXES...might as well put it into both DM and OBJ
3-Under the MAPFIXES folder...Create a new text file...then open the text file and save as WHATEVERYOUNAMEIT.scr but make sure to save as ALL FILES!!
4-Now write the script for the object you want to spawn....for example
local.fix1 = spawn script_model
local.fix1 model "vehicles/shermantank_damaged.tik"
local.fix1.origin = ( xxx xxx xxx)
local.fix1.angles = ( 0 0 0 )
local.fix1 solid
5-Go into the game and go to the map you want to add an object too...once your at the spot where you want the object...bring down console and type COORD...it will give you the coordinates of that spot...copy or right down those coordinates and i keep the angles ( 0 0 0 )
6-Then go back to your WHATEVERYOUNAMEIT.scr file and add the coords...then copy it into the original map.scr under WAITTILL LEVEL SPAWN
7-No scroll up to the top of the original map.scr until you see the line SETCVAR "G_SCOREBOARDPIC" "MP_MAPNAME_DM"...and right under this is where you type the executable command....since your WHATEVERYOUNAMEIT.scr is in MAPS/DM or OBJ/MAPFIXES.....for example type in
EXEC MAPS/DM or OBJ/MAPFIXES/WHATEVERYOUNAMEIT.SCR
8-Now save both .scr's
9-Open Pakscape....create a folder called MAPS...inside that the folders DM and OBJ....inside those a folder called MAPFIXES....
10-Now put the original map.scr under DM or OBJ(depending on the map)..and the WHATEVERYOUNAMEIT.SCR in the under the MAPFIXES
11-Now click all the way out to MAPS...the choose SAVE AS...select pk3..and name it whatever you want...example...ZZZZZMapObjects
12-Then put into MAINTA and test it out!!
