PA uses a modified version of Radiant. Brushes are the basis of all PA maps.

Sorry MPowell1944, but you are wrong. MOHPA will use models rather than brushes. Radiant will be used only to assemble these models, add triggers, clip, etc... . A Milkshape like editor (or pluging) will come with it also--to make new models, but making things with brushes is out.

The good news is that compiling will only take seconds--even though the maps are 5 times larger.

Running WinXP SP2 with DirectX 9.0c installed and a Geforce 2 64mb GTS Ultra and the game comes up with a box as soon as I click start that says:

Sorry your card does not support DirectX 8.1 fully. And then goes on to say what cards were used to test. For Nvidia they start off with the Geforce 3 series... :cry:


First game to let me know that I am not directx 8.1 compatible. I even played and completed Farcry with no problems. And from what I understand this game basically uses the same engine as Farcry. But oh well, time to upgrade the ole vid card.

Lemme know if someone cracks the exe so I can try it out on my Geforce 2 card... I AM DYING TO PLAY THIS GAME!!

Yes no more visable brushes but we have known that for a long, long time now. I still want to map so I have been getting into modelling and I cant wait not to have to sit around for my map to compile.
