Computers getting out of date WAYYYYY too fast!

my video card is just BARELY TOO OUT OF DATE0! MOh:pa demo requires a RADEON 8500 as its lowest compatable videocard! i have RADEON 7500 series! i have to buy a new one! i just bought it less than a year ago and **** PA is makin me buy a new one! IF you had my allowance(2 dollars a WEEK) YOUD KNOW HOW..... PEEVED i am right now!

ok everybody thats my ranting for the day? any1 else feel the need to strangle pc and/or ea?

i just bought it less than a year ago
well,less then a year ago it seems you got an "old" card. u shouldve gotten something more "later".
its like getting a radeon 8500 now
.
but i still agree, its moving way too fast.
perhaps you can convince your "higher authorities" to invest in a vga card for you ?
any1 else feel the need to strangle pc and/or ea?
not my pc, but i wouldnt mind strangling EA

well, $100 is gone from my savings....
and,hasnt this been oodles of problem since i got back from NC?
i say that because.. I WAS STUPID AND SET THE GRAPHICS FOR THE DEMO ON HIGH! Stupidme stupid me......

lol ya, i agree. but fortunatly, the speed of computer developmeant is slowly decreasing because we have already hit maximum proccessing speed so far and the only thing theyre coming out with now is better sound and image quality devices. The best Video Card out today should have u set for about 3 yrs until gaming catches up and calls for a better one. Thats my 2cents on this topic.

32 mb ram nVidia GeForce2 Mx200 graphics.
And I still dont get an update for another year or so. Im setting my sights on the nVidia ultra 600.

If you're talking about PA single player demo, it comes with a configuration tool. I did the same thing and it ran crappy till I played with the settings.

lol man, jsut get a good card and dont upgrade 5 months diff in cards, they'll only last that much longer.

one of the best, and i got it for $230.
to give you a hint, it consistantly plays V2 without fx over 100 fps anywhere in the map, even spawn. with people and nade marks etc itnever dips below 50. which was normal before. and the best part... 250 fps maxed
(of course that was whiele staring into a wall while afk getting a bag of chips)
