yea i got the bot map maker thingy but just cant get my head around it!

I should say how to unzip it . Put the pk3 into your main directory and the other files except the txt file into your main/maps/obj directory . Read the readme file on how to bind the menu to a key on your keyboard . Then start a server and play the obj_team1 map . You sould see the temp models used in the botmapper . Use the use key to select the temp model that is closest to you and open the botmapper menu and it will be the selected item that you see above the position sliders . wander around the map and you can find the other types of nodes like the sniper node camp node and mg node to get an idea of how to set them up . Then go by the church and see how a bomb is setup . Also look on your way for route nodes . When useing the menu use the close menu button do not use your esc key . Try spawning a few things and see how it works . Look at the kinds of nodes you can spawn . After you get use to it then find the bot manual af freebrief and read it and or ask in the Bot forum for help .

ok cool ,one question though , can i put the map and botmapmaker in maintt and run it with BT? i tried and can get the menu up and load obj1 etc but when map loads and i open mapmaker i dont see any nodes etc?

I have not tried it in BT but if you exec the botmapper script in the level script of the map you are trying to make into a bot map then try to use the menu to spawn a node you will know if it does or not . The menu is just 1 part of the bot mapper it needs you to also run the botmapper script at the same time for it to work .
