What are u competitors gonna do with your maps?

As these maps ought to be kinda state-of-the-art, you really should think about sharing them with others, and send them ASAP to the recycling bin!

I'd need the map file, the custom stuff like textures, scripts and a screenshot. Getting a little description, maybe even with your competion score would be great! All packed in one zip file and u're ready in just some minutes...

So what are u waiting for?

How large is your webspace, and what are the quality standards for uploading?

Is the idea to send maps that are for learning purposes(small tutorial maps), or is it ok to send first versions of something Im working on.

At the moment, u unfortunatly can't upload files but have to send them via email or give me a link. For both, file size ought to be no problem. 'My' webspace is on planetmedalofhonor.com (site) and fileplanet (files) and they probably have more space than our hdd's together

The general idea of my site is to provide mappers with properly made maps which they can study and see how either basics (like caulking, staying on the grid, dimensions of things e.g) or advanced topics (like vising, scripted stuff and so on) are done by "more experienced" mappers. Also, mappers might find some new ideas of what their next map could contain.

It won't matter, whether these maps are made just to show some tricks or whether they are "normal" maps. So, if your 1st versions were done well, they would be more than welcome.

Quality standards are hard to define. I posted in this thread, because I thought competition maps ought to be rather well made, haven't got a single one though, so I can't tell.
If you were able to avoid z-fighting, know what to detail, don't have to fight with doors opening in the wrong direction... you know what I mean

Any half good mapper not having at least one map file there is a monkey-lover.

PS: Loving monkeys is not nessesarily a bad thing
