Parachute model and air raid sound

Is there a parachute model in AA that I can use for my mods? And also, is there an air raid siren for AA that I can use.

Ask Cobra for the parachute, he got it in his flying maps

And yes there are is a air raid siren in AA,
main\sound\mechanics\Mec_Alarm_10

Sure there is, use this one for ai if you want them to drop in.

If your spawning an AI actor that you want to bind to the chute you need to allow for the origins like this.

local.ai.origin = ($para_start.origin + ( 0 0 -76 ))
local.ai.angles = ( 0 179 0 )
local.ai targetname "some_ai_dude"
Otherwise the AI actor will be standing in the straps instead of hanging from them :-)

Allied Assault doesnt have any parachutes, you could use one from Spearhead or Breakthrough, or even from one of our maps that has them working in Allied Assault :)

Thanks for everyone's help.

I don't know anything about AI in multiplayer...do I need a certain .scr file in the global folder if I want AI in my mods?

Cobra, what map of yours can I find the parachute in?

Also, is there an allied armor vehicle that can move and shoot through scripting in AA?

The parachutes are in Runway Sorties1 and Runway Sorties2 (2 is currently undergoing a bug hunt but 1 is still in the mod files section.

There isnt any Allied Armour that has animation in Allied Assault unless you use Scorpios Drivable tank types which means peeps would have to download the files to see it, so it is not much use to a stock map because of this reason. You can still move the stock allied vehicles around the map - just no wheels/tracks will be moving but you could maybe hide them behind a wall lol

Dragon - theres a few mods around that has automatic tanks driving around stock maps

Either I'm blind or the map runway sorties 1 isn't there. I only saw the second version.

I found the map, but I didn't find a parachute model within the .pk3 file.

cobra the parachute wasnt in the first map only the second and the bug hunt is over and the bug found but is it being fixed?..nooo..ive said i would have a go at fixing it but i havnt the info i asked for.

i think phil is going to have a go when he has itime if he gets reminded.

Awsome, thanks for the parachute. :D

One more question...I tried making it so if someone hits e (use) on a glowing radio then it will call an airstrike. I can easily do planes. My question is how do you make it so it reads that a player pressed use?
