I wonder too because one file has'nt got anything to do with another.
You write the .tik yourself with notepad, it's a basic script.
I don't think there's an exporter for milkshape that exports the mesh files.

Yes, i think Scorpio Midget wrote those and anything linking to his site seems gone.
I think with this exporter you would only be able to export single bone meshes or meshes without weights as ms does'nt support it.

MS is very light, mostly meant for anims and not modelling. i suggest gmax or 3dsmax for taht kind of thing. 3dsmax is premier, it's what all professional companies use. only difference between gmax and 3dsm is gmax doesnt allow skinnning. not a bad deal for free.

That is kind of wrong to say.
Gmax allows modeling, mapping (UV W) but not rendering.
And milkshape is best for simple modeling, very bad for UV mapping.
Animation works too but weigthing is not supported so you are restricted to basic skeletal animation.
Try a google for the exporters, i would'nt know how else to get it.

ok i googled, and i found some on TMT, but they are for COD. Is that the same thing?

nope. CoD and MOH are totally different. only thing the same is the engine. i wouldnt trust a d/l on that.
perrrrrrrrrfect
btw d/ling exporters is kind of a necessary job in the modelling biz
That is kind of wrong to say.
what i meant was MS was kinda low-scale, and gmax was mid-scale. if he wanted to make actual models that would be seen frequently like guns or such then he should prolly d/l gmax/3dsmax
I AM modelling!not skinning
mostly meant for anims and not modelling

ok so that means they dont use the same model format

if anyone totalled up the number of how many model formats there were, they'd be old fat, and feeble. every engine has it's own, every editor has it's own, most of the time so does a game. then you have Movies, CG, etc etc... thousands available.
