I like the amount of work these guy(s) put into the vietnam mod. But at least make gun textures look better. (no offense).

As sole mapper, I can tell you a little about the maps... After watching maaany movies about 'nam, and playing good PC games (all in the nature of work, of course

) These maps are a compilaton of what i could remember, so whilst not representing any individual place exactly, is does kinda sum up the couuntry

(thats my excuse anyhow)
So far, we have only 2 maps, of which you can see in the screens, a third is forthcoming for jets and boats, but as ElitE3D says, more would be appreciated
After the Jectmap, i'll have a go at urban for ya

I'll put this in the news later tonight

more maps sounds cool but lets release it once we got the jet map finished and then new maps and change can be hosted in small pk3 files afterwards.

NIIIIIIIIIIICE! like mj's sig. Shows all the brushwork involved. Anyway, the important thing. How is the FPS affected by all of the trees and other static models? do the trees move? I mean you cant have low FPS. ok and, to my stupidity, is this a multiplayer or SP mod?

1 tree anims are coded into them, you cant NOT ake them move. screenshots dont show movement
2. MP. what else these days? nobody cares about SP.
3. you can have low FPS on these maps, but it'd take a lot of really handy camoflauging and leafgroup work.

All of the bushes, trees, foliage wave, as if it were wind movement (Balr14's the man

)

I would make an SP... i just have no patience
FPS... i'm not good at mapping within FPS restraints... so FPS is average-low on a medium-low spec comp, but with all gearing up for PA, it matters slightly less, I guess
Just been running around the recently constucted jetmap and i must say, it looks awfully fun, even if i do say it myself
