Show FPS in map

Post by LiquorKraZy »

i dont know if im doin sumthing wrong but when i go into my map and look around i bring down console and type in cg_drawfps 1 and even /cg_drawfps 1 and nothing comes up!! Any ideas?

Secondly...I built a huge map terrain with dimensions (Y)11344 and (X)10256...now when i try to add the stuff i can do it but its really really slow...what i did was i created a terrain in my paint shop program then opened up Radiant and created a brush the size i wanted and then Create from brush and LOAD image....now is there any way to speed things up or a diff technique to go about doing terrain?

Thanks

the command to see fps is "fps 1".

As for the LOD, try setting the LOD scale down a bit... sounds like you are running att 100% scale...

i like 'fps 2' better

but thats jsut personal preference, it blacks the bottom strip of screen high enough to show the monitor, pretty much only difference.
