Is there a way to take the carcano rifle from Breakthrough and convert the bazooka in Spearhead to it? And work server side just like any other rifle in Spearhead? Just curious!

if that rifle doesnt exist in SH then it cannot be a server side mod for SH.

I dont have BT tho, so name isnt familiar to me

its a 6-round bolt action Italian rifle, accurate but not as nice as the Mauser, good weight and easy rebolt tiem tho.

but you can jsut use scripts to block bazookas from your server.

It would have to be a client-side mod for it to work.

actually i dontthink it would, certain animation stuffs are used for heavy, pistol, rifle, smg, mg, etc so you'd end up with a Carcano over-th-shoulder

THe reason it has to be clientside rather then server side is that spearhead doesnt come with information for that rifle. This means that spearhead does not have a skin for it, spearhead cannot draw the rifle, because there is no information for it in the spearhead folders. I dont know what this gun does, so im not sure what anims hes talking about, but if those anims dont exist in spearhead, then that also is something spearhead simply cant do, without a client side mod.

think of clientside/serverside like this:

If something physicaly does not exist within the game you are modding for, you cannot add it through a server side mod.

This applies to all sounds and images, and to a lesser extent behaviors within the game(you can script things, but you cant reproduce all animations, etc..).

If this is a weapon introduced with BT that has a skin different from anything in SH, then you cant give it to folks in SH, unless they download it.
