1st person player view.

Does anyone know how to drop the players view to knees height?
It must not be using 3rd person. I know you can change it from stand to duck in the mike.legs but this doesnt give me the ability to adjust it forward, back, left, right or as low as i would like.

i think you need to find out a targetname for the view (urc?) or something...

The urc files are for the huds, menus and are in the ui folder and have nothing to do with it.
Not being big headed or anything i know quite alot, so please dont post stupid noobish replies unless you know the answer or know what your talking about.

I think you can use modheight not sure how exactly you will have to play around with the syntax . Here is what the SDK says
modheight( String height )
change the maximum height of the player
can specify 'stand', 'duck', 'duckrun', or a specific height
I think I used it once so I am pretty sure it works .

Anyway thanks bd for the extra bit of info, i have already gone the modheight way but was stuck using 2 cmds, i will have a good playaround with it seeing as it was a good positive answer.

lol,he didnt say he was 100% he even said OR SOMETHING,
he was just tryin to steer him in the right direction.

in SP u can do it easy but it wont work for MP:S:@.
anyway modheight is for anim state or position.
modhight stand will make u stand up.
i have not found a way to manipulate a players camera in MP WITHOUt cheats on server enables otherwise maybe u can use the SP cmd's.
