How LONG does a compile with LEAF GROUPS LAST?

Not an easy question to answer, but...

Can anyone explain or even understand how the compile runs through the map? I have 54 vis leafgroups in the map, I can't see any pattern in the 'portal' numbers as they are all out of any order. The 'mightsee' column is in numbered order, however. BUT from where is it calulating? Does it run up and down, left to right, left to right to left, etc.

I think I've wasted 15+ hours. Any ideas?

vis_leafgroups make your compile very much slower. Personally I hate them.
