Any response on the screens perhaps?
Will be an idyllic and detailed double Objective Multiplayer-map inspired by a small village somewhere at the German/French frontier. Mostly all buildings walkable and ...
Hope getting it "alpha" till spring
oops... forgot the link

The shots look awsome. Looks like a lot of fun. Could you post a "top dow" shot, so we can get a feel for how the areas are connected?
Also: the FPS is a bit worrying in those screens: but maby it is test compiles.
Looks great. Keep it up!

Wow, thanks guys.
I added some shots so you can get an overview.
@Bjarne: Actually they are shots from the testcompile and i've got your Vis-Leafgroup tutorial under my pillow while sleeping and i'm more than a bit worried about the fps. But confidently i'll get it.
Probably I'll need some advice when it gets to the scripting part - hope you will have some for me.

You have some SERIOUS VIS work to do on that baby before it is done!

I'm peeing my pants thinking of that damn Vis-thing as Bjarne said.
The name? I haven't really got one yet. Thought about Saverne, a Village in Elsa?, region Alsoce/France.
But doesn't really matter - any French-sounding name should do.
Btw: Mapfile has 14megs now

Map file of 14 megs ( about half done? ) that leans towards 28 when done. An un-educated guess for your final compile time: say around one week with a 2.0 GHz CPU with 512 RAM....
Unless you happen to have a render park nearby, or some insane multi-CPU machine.
