Stain Glass texture found on brigde/crossroads

Hi all,

The stainglass window i been all the way though the textures and i cant find it anywhere. Any ideas?? unless its a static model it cant be tho must be a texture.

I gone throgh them i cant find it :( this is what i looking for its not custom but the map making shifty been able to find it.

interior/cathedralwindow_centerlower is quite similar, but it's not it.

in what map did u see it?

The texture you're looking for seems to have no shader :?.
But it is one of these two: mohtest/cathedarchlrg or mohtest/cathwinlrg.
Just copy/paste the path from here, or go to Edit->Preferences and check the "Show Non-Shader Images" option and reload the mohtest-textures.
The textures are big Tga's (256x512) with no shaders, kinda weird that they didn't just make them Jpegs instead.
To make the glass "cast light" (the effect you see in those screenshots), you'll need to place small lights in front of them.

while we're on it, what's the V2 garage door texture? (obj_team2) at the end of the truck room (the one with the truck in it) there's a big door, and on the front is a matching door with a cooler insignia on it. where are they? i looked under general_structure and general_industrial, central_europe, interior, everything i could think of, they're not there :S

cooler insignia? dont really know what you mean, the one with the German eagle and swastika? That's german/bunker_heavydoor1. Btw, all doors used in V2 are located in the 'blasted', 'german' and 'general_industrial' folders.


(hehe, I once extracted all textures from pak2.pak and converted them to jpeg's, for the sake of disk space. Now I can browse them very quick with a viewer program like Thumbsplus. Has been saving me lots of time ever since.)

Not really, but if a texture has no shader you cannot control its surfaceparm properties and it will default to "stone". So if for instance if you have wood texture without a shader it will act and sound as if it were a stone texture.

If you really would wanna put the work into it, you could make your own shader for it, since there isn't one. It really wouldn't be any different than if you were making a shader for a custom texture.
